10 Tips on How to Start a Youtube Channel

Hey guys!
If you want to start a youtube channel and earn money (Or just have fun😀) then this entry is for you!!!

There are lots of people who start channels but don't get recognized. These tips will make it a lot more easier! But if you followed ALL of these and still don't have more than a thousand subbies, don't get discouraged!!! It takes time for people to be noticed.😊😊😊

1. EQUIPMENT
This is very important in vlogging. Of course, if you're just starting out, you don't need to buy a super expensive camera. You can start out with your own phone but it has to be HD so your videos can attract people better.

Here are the things you need:

Camera
Charger
Memory card
Tripod
Editor app
Microphone

Again, you don't necessarily need everything in this list, but it WILL help if you get everything. For the meantime, start with your smartphone. And once you at least have more than 1000 subs, start getting serious on your equipment.😉

2. DECIDE WHAT KIND OF CHANNEL YOU WANT
Maybe you want to do dance covers, vlog, or probably do D.I.Y.S, its your choice. Remember, do what you love. And don't try to be some other famous youtuber. Just be yourself.☺

Tip:Start with one topic for your channel. You might wonder why, but it's because if someone subscribes to you because of a cooking video you posted, (example) and then the next video you post about video games, your subbie might unsubscribe you because they expected another video about cooking. But if you're already famous, then you can do as much as you like!!!

3.CHOOSE THUMBNAILS THAT WILL INTEREST PEOPLE TO CLICK ON YOUR VIDEO
But please don't try clickbait. People will probably be upset that the thumbnail they saw was not even in the video.

4. MAKE A SCHEDULE
Example, from Monday to Friday make a video,
On Saturday edit the video, and on Sunday post the video. This will make subscribers know when to check your channel for new videos. Also, stick to your schedule, if you change it, some subs might not be too happy...

5.MAKE A GOOD DESCRIPTION FOR YOUR VIDEO
It depends on what YOU want to say but you could add "Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel and click the like button!" You could also put a link to your channel. Another tip is if example you made a makeup tutorial video, you could add links to the websites where you bought the makeup you used.

6. YOUR INTRO
You have to talk about the main concept of what's going to happen in the video. Again, you could  say please subscribe and like! And you could give shout outs. Remember, your intro has to be a minimum of 15 seconds long or even shorter, so the people who are watching won't get bored and won't press another video.

7. ANNOTATIONS
You could put annotations on the last part of your video but make sure the video is already finished. Example, your still talking and the annotation pops up and blocks you. It's much better to put annotations after the last clip and just use a nice background.😉

8.MAKE COLLABORATIONS
This will get people's attention on you and your videos if the collab is with someone popular. Also, you could both say the names of your channels so if people are watching from the other person's channel or yours, they'll most likely check both channels.

9.MUSIC
If you want to add music, (if it's copyrighted) then you can ask permission from the company of the song. But if you just want to add background music that is not copyrighted, Youtube has songs that are okay to use!

10.HAVE FUN!!!
This is very important in becoming a succesful youtuber such as myself. Just joking!!! I do have a channel but with no videos.😁😁😁 Anyway, enough about me. Just have fun and always be optimistic!!!

These are the 10 tips for making a Youtube channel. Hope it's super helpful!!!
