A haircut would be nice!

I wonder when me and Matt would get a haircut. We couldn't yesterday because daddy had a really bad headache. And it was getting worse. 

My hair is way past my shoulders. Daddy layered it a few months ago. And it began to grow longer and longer. My brother Matt, needs a haircut too. But I'm not sure if we could do it today because daddy is picking up mommy from her office.

Meanwhile, Matt was eating his cereal since no one wanted to eat it. From time to time, he comes in the room and looks at what I'm doing.

Then he called daddy to ask him if he could watch TV. After his brief conversation with daddy, he walked downstairs and turned it on. I could just hear the sounds from down below.

Just a minute later, he came back up and told me, "There's a new episode of Haunted Tales!" Then he went back downstairs. I went down a short while later and sat on the couch.

After that, I went back upstairs while Matt was watching another show.

Maybe later on I would ask daddy for a simple haircut!

New Year

New year has come,
to our hearts desire
the people gather, ready to celebrate,
on December 31st, midnight,
fireworks crack and boom,
the people eat,visitors come and go,
the whole family watches, then sleeps,
but still hears the raging fireworks from faraway,
even their neighbors still sing, their voices in the air,
Oh, how new year never ends.
